How this site makes money.

The whole point of this page is that you shouldn't have to wonder. Here it is, in plain English.

The short version

When you buy through links on this site or use code NICOTHELEFTY, the brand pays me a commission. It costs you nothing extra — with the code, you usually pay less. That commission is how the testing, the site, and the content get funded.

What the money never touches

Scores. No brand can pay for a review, a score, or a ranking — partner or not.
Bad verdicts. Reviews that recommend against a partner's product stay published. See the Pulsar Pro review — Pickleball Apes is a partner, and I still tell you to buy their cheaper paddle instead.
What gets reviewed. I test what players are actually buying, not what pays best.

How to support the site (if you want)

Use the links, use the code, and tell your rec group. That's it. The affiliate model only works long-term if the reviews stay honest — which means your trust is literally the business model.
