The Hyper+ is CPX's answer to the hollow-core problem: a full foam core that fills the whole body of the paddle, so the face is supposed to respond the same an inch from the edge as it does dead center. CPX calls it a 99 percent sweet spot and zero dead zones.
That's the claim I'm testing, along with the price. CPX lists it at $300 and sells it at $199.97, and the code takes it under $170, which puts a foam unibody paddle in Spitfire territory. It's in my bag now. No score until I've played it enough to defend one.
