About Selkirk
Selkirk is a family company from northern Idaho. Brothers Rob and Mike Barnes started it in 2014 with their father, Jim, and the brothers still run it as co-CEOs.
Most of the R&D happens in-house through Selkirk LABS, which is where the Boomstik came from. In January 2026 Bluestone Equity Partners put $30 million into the company, and in May 2026 Selkirk bought Bread & Butter.
